YAMA

A Japanese restaurant in the middle of the city centre attracts foodies and design-lovers alike. The name stands for "the top of the hill" and suggests an outstanding gastronomical experience. Thanks to Bara Studio the interior environment supports this expectation. Together with his team we have developed a "floating" tube raster lighting installation above the bar area that is not only decorative and functional due to the nano spots at the end of selected tubes, but also easy to spot thus inviting from the streets, from outside of the restaurant. Custom wall lightings upgraded with a semi transparent grid texture were developed as well, complementary to the architectural concept. A memorable project, an attractive space.
